Looks like Mark Zuckerberg is dropping his iconic look for a new one.

On May 1, 2018, Mark appeared on stage at F8, Facebook’s annual (even though they missed 2009, 2012, and 2013) developer conference with a refreshingly new look. The CEO of the tech giant run the audience through quite a number of amazing new innovations that the company will be rolling out soon. One of such was the dating service that is to give Tinder a run for their money.

Amidst all these exciting announcements, there was one thing that personally struck me, streaming the event – Mark’s look. Zuckerberg appeared in an unusually fresh look. Zuckerberg showed up wearing a blue long-sleeved sweater, black jeans, and black Nike sneakers.

Though this was not far from the public look we have all come to notice him for; gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and gray Nikes, this one was too noticeable to ignore. He still maintained the casual feel of his fashion statement by the way (I feel like a fashion critic already. JK).

The change of outlook for Mark hasn’t been a big part of his life. Since 2011 when he walked up to stage in his iconic gray t-shirt and blue jeans he’s never looked backed, till last Tuesday.

Over the years Mark’s look has transitioned from Hoodie to T-shirt. Could the long-sleeved sweater be the beginning of a new era?

We take a look back since the very first F8, in 2007 on Mark’s looks;

And this was him again in 2008, still in the college feel. You can call it his hoodie years.

The only thing that may have changed in Mark’s look in 2014 may be his pair of sneakers.

By 2015 it had become a familiar look with Mark, and this time the sneaker remained too.

Mark loves a subtle change. In 2016, the only difference was again, the sneakers.

New Year, Same look. He didn’t look any different in 2017 from the previous year.

Blue denim for black fit jeans

Gray Nike sneakers for black Nike sneakers.

Could this be the new make over for Mark? We hope so.
